Easy by Tammara Webber
My Rating: ★★★★
Goodreads summary:
Rescued by a stranger.
Haunted by a secret
Sometimes, love isn’t easy…

He watched her, but never knew her. Until thanks to a chance encounter, he became her savior… The attraction between them was undeniable. Yet the past he’d worked so hard to overcome, and the future she’d put so much faith in, threatened to tear them apart. Only together could they fight the pain and guilt, face the truth—and find the unexpected power of love. A groundbreaking novel in the New Adult genre, Easy faces one girl’s struggle to regain the trust she’s lost, find the inner strength to fight back against an attacker, and accept the peace she finds in the arms of a secretive boy.
Review:
Okay, so I read this thinking it would be just your typical love story, and in some ways, it was, but for some reason, I read this in one sitting, completely enraptured by it. I think the main reason for this is because this story was extremely familiar in the fact that I’m considering that Tammara Webber has been following me around and writing about what happened in my life a year ago (Except for the rapey parts haha :| ). So creepy… but I think because of this I really connected with the story on a higher level than I normally would have. Anyway, this was such an enjoyable read that made me feel all happy on the inside but devastated for what some of the characters had to go through. I think this is what set it apart from your typical love story, because of some of the characters and their experiences that really tugged at my heart strings.
Such an enjoyable read!

but logic examined and recalculated
heated and curved to fit
inside the contours of the heart”
